Eric Haacht Plymouth, 1983°

Eric Haacht is a self-taught artist with a clear preference for painting portraits, which he started in 2011 - based in a remote part of the UK. Born in the 1980s, Haacht was primarily influenced by Bristol's rich graffiti culture. From his interest in this art form, the artist came into contact with street art. Haacht became increasingly interested in and immersed himself in portrait painting, partly through the discovery of Francis Bacon, one of the most famous expressionist painters. After Haacht started working more professionally and selling more and more successfully, he has increasingly opened up to the public. From the age of twenty, painting begins to become the best way to express itself. Initially, Haacht mainly focused on building an online focus, fan base, identity in repertoire, which serves as a springboard to successfully enter the international art and gallery market.
